Ah, my Doily News has arrived

In an effort to disguise the latest subscriber copies of advertising journal Lürzer’s Archive, which claims it is the “most stolen” magazine around, Coy! created a series of fake covers designed to deter potential thieves…

Agency Leo Burnett London asked Coy! to come up with six less-than-desirable magazine covers; the kind of thing you wouldn’t want to be caught reaching for in the newsagents, or indeed opening up at your desk.

Coy!’s Mark Denton worked with photographer Fern Berresford and designer/typographer Kate Henderson on the covers, while the copy was written by Leo Burnett’s Ben Gough, who came up with De-Worming World, Doily News, Bucket Collector, Account Man Monthly, Spreadsheet Enthusiast, and erm, Cock Handler.
