Awards & competitions

Creative Review runs several awards and competitions throughout the year.

The Annual

The Annual showcases the best work of the year in visual communications. A selection panel of leading industry figures chooses what, in their opinion, is the strongest work of the previous year from entries in advertising, graphic design, digital media, packaging, music videos and related media. The work is published in a special double issue of the magazine and is also available to watch via E-CR, the digital version of Creative Review. This year’s Annual is now open for entry. The deadline for entering is 20th December and the results will be published in out May 2008 issue. Enter here.

The Photography Annual

As with our main Annual, the Photography Annual aims to showcase the finest work produced in the past year, but this time the focus is on photography only. There are categories for personal work, advertising, work shot for design consultancies, editorial and conceptual work shot for photolibraries. Entries will be viewed by a panel of leading art directors and art buyers with the best featured in a special October double issue of Creative Review. Creative Futures

For over 15 years, Creative Review has been nurturing young talent through our Creative Futures scheme. Last year’s winners featured in the December 2006 issue of the magazine, but can also be viewed here. Details of next year’s Creative Futures scheme will be announced later this year.

E STINGS

For the past four years, Creative Review has partnered with E4 on the E STINGS competition. All you have to do is create a five-to-ten-second sting for E4 or E4 Music and you could get your work on air and win a commission from E4 worth £15,000. For full details, click here.
