The Annual: September

Creative Review

September's best work includes Google's quarterly publication, the Brixton pound and Androp's interactive music video game

THE BROWSING COPY PROJECT - BEAUTIFUL

The browsing copy is the most-read but least-loved copy of any book: this self-published project sought to elevate such abused objects by asking artists to create new works using existing browsing copies donated by a local Singapore bookshop.

ANDROP: BELL - PARTY INC

In this interactive music video, users type in a message at the start. The letters of the message then form an animal which the user has to navigate through a drawn environment before finally sending ti via Twitter.

MATTHEW HILTON WEBSITE - SPIN

Elegant online and mobile brand extensions for the furniture designer.

GOOGLE: THINK QUARTERLY - THE CHURCH OF LONDON

Quarterly publication distributed by Google to an audience of 'thought leaders'. For this particular issue, a giant cover image was created by a group of illustrators filling out a huge sheet of paper with drawings on the theme of mobile communication. The sheet was then photographed and cropped to create an individual, unique cover for each recipient.

ORANGE: THE FEED - POKE

The Feed is where mobile network Orange run a variety of fun social media activity, such as having an illustrator create 'memorial plates' out of users' tweets, or creating 'singing tweetagrams' in whcih tweets were sung by a harmonising trio and sent out as MP3s.

VALERIE HOSKINS ASSOCIATES REBRAND - THE ALLOTMENT

Beautifully crafted identity for writers' agent.

BRIXTON POUND - THIS AIN'T ROCK 'N' ROLL

Beautifully designed local currency for Brixton featuring notable former residents of the area.
