Click: San Francisco
Creative Review’s Click, the one-day celebration and exploration of all that is new and exciting in the world of digital communication launched in San Francisco this autumn with a fabulous panel of expert views, case studies, discussion and debate...
The programme featured a tasty blend of innovation, insight and incident as leaders in digital creativity are brought together with the next generation of creative stars and our informed, passionate audiences to debate/argue/row about the present and future of our industry.
Following two fantastic years in New York we responded to your feedback and took our event west. We designed a programme to inspire and provoke, bringing together the best global and local creative digital minds. Click delivered a day that combines expert views on the biggest challenges facing the industry, short ‘behind the scenes’ presentations on the most recent work that Creative Review most admires and introductions to digital innovators from the creative world at large. There was of course great advertising, but also inspiring work from the worlds of art, music video, image making and interactive design.
Unique thinking for a unique location
Although there are many synergies with the way the creative industry works around the world, Click San Francisco offered a programme distinct in its appreciation of local artists, issues and industry. We incorporated a unique blend of key discussion points and speakers. Topics included:
How the entertainment & advertising worlds collide and how to cultivate new opportunities and greater involvement from your audiences
An opportunity to explore how the gaming industry use technology and storytelling and how to incorporate this when creating consumer engagement pieces.
New speakers and program announced
We know that there are many events across the world where you can see the same work rolled out over and over. This is where we want to be different. Our speakers including Eric Rodenbeck, Iain Tate, Hyper Island, R/GA, AKQA, Vincent Morisset, Gareth Kay and Mike Geiger shared their thoughts about things that have either inspired or influenced them, predictions for the future and work that never got published.
SoDA – Creative Review were delighted to have SoDA included within the programme. The Society of Digital Agencies hosted a special panel featuring a selection of the their members talking about the latest innovations in digital.
