Corbis Silver Iris Competition
As part of its support for Creative Review's Photography Annual, Corbis offered our readers the chance to win an iPad 2, along with an opportunity to be featured in the Photography Annual itself.
The 2011 Silver Iris Competition challenged you to submit your most creative and innovative images.
We'd like to thank you for all the great entries for the Silver Iris Competition Brief "Urbanization" and are happy to announce the top three winners:

These photographers did an excellent job of interpreting the brief and delivering highly creative takes on the topic of Urbanization. The success of a commercial image is often determined by its ability to tell a story quickly while leaving a lasting impression, and this was certainly achieved by all three candidates.
Unfortunately, due to a number of technical issues with the Creative Review website, we are unable to continue with the Silver Iris competition this year. We'd like to thank our partner, Corbis, for their support of this exciting new event, and apologise sincerely both to them and to you for not being able to continue the competition through the coming months.
