The return of Life on Mars, the BBC1 series in which a detective wakes up to find himself back in the 70s, is being trailed with a nice campaign from Red Bee Media.
A viral (above) exposes the dark underbelly of legendary kids' show, Camberwick Green as a puppet version of hard-nosed DI Gene Hunt is seen beating up a "nonce".
In broadcast trails for the series, Red Bee have revived the 70s BBC logo (shown below) while a direct mail piece (cover shown) spoofs a 1973 police training manual, as wriiten by the aforementioned Hunt.
Creative director: Ruth Shabi. Writers: Amanda Kirke and Jim Dezeote. Art director: Lee Healy. Directors: Sarah O’Gorman and Joe Lee.
