Come And Meet Our Creative Futures 07
Creative Review magazine and PS3 are hosting a series of parties to celebrate Creative Futures 2007
Creative Futures is our scheme to recognise new talent in the creative industries. On 21, 26 and 27 November we will be holding gatherings featuring talks by our 6 Creative Futures nominees for this year – 6 people who we feel have the talent to be future stars of the creative industries. The events are free – everyone is welcome, but space is limited. If you'd like to come, read on...

On 21 November, we present:
Designer and illustrator Kate Moross (sleeve design for Cutting Pink With Knives, above)
And digital creatives Digital Club (still from Sony Bravia project shown above)
On 26 November, you can hear about the the work of:
Photographer Popel Coumou (untitled 2007 shown above)
And creative team Samuel Akesson and Tomas Mankovsky from Fallon (who created the new Sony Walkman ad, above)
On 27 November:
Filmmaker and animator David O’Reilly (Venetian Snares video, above)
And filmmaker and designer Roel Wouters (zZz is playing: Grip, above)
Each event will run from 7 to 10pm at 3Rooms, a unique space on Hanbury Street, London E1. Each of the designated Futures nominees will speak about their work, while the work of the other nominees will also be on show.
In addition, we would like all attendees to take part in a unique creative project. We are asking everyone who attends to bring with them a piece of their work (for copyright reasons it must be your original work) – a photograph, an illustration, some words, music or film. Please bring it on a CD which you can leave with us. Our Futures nominees will then use this work to create new pieces in response to the event which will be featured in a later issue of CR.
Space at 3Rooms is STRICTLY limited to 120 people. Therefore, if you would like to come, it is ESSENTIAL that you RSVP by following this link and selecting Creative Futures
If you have friends or colleagues who would like to come, please ask them to RSVP separately by going to the same site.
Sorry to be so strict, but once the venue reaches capacity, no-one else will be allowed in and we don’t want you to be disappointed. If you do not RSVP via the site above you will not be able to get in. It’s first come, first served. If you do RSVP but don’t come, someone else will miss out.
Hope to see you there
All the nominees' work will be featured in the special Creative Futures January issue of CR, coming out mid-December
