United Visual Artists have brought their light installation skills to the promo for Tonto, the next single from acclaimed US band Battles. Produced by Warp Films, the 8-minute video sees the group performing amidst a sea of poles of light – each one responding to the fractured sounds within the track, which is taken from Battles' recently released album, Mirrored.

The "Tonto +" single (including a bonus DVD) is released in the US on 6 November; 22 October in the rest of the world.

Very interesting..

The white light poles remind me of Star wars, this could be a Jedi convention.

I was expecting it to be cut short into some kind of 'radio edit' short version; but it never happened... fantastic.
Artistic integrity on both parts for a whole 8 minutes.
Great location too;

Manager: You want me to fly out my Brooklyn band and all there kit to North Wales to film them with some rocks and lights.

UVA: Yes please
