Wallace & Gromit model for Harvey Nics
Harvey Nichols is opening in Bristol – who better to advertise the new store than two of Bristol's most famous sons, Wallace & Gromit?
The new poster campaign sees the characters (created by Bristol-based Aardman, of course) striking a pose with their usual attire swapped for more fashionable clobber. Wallace is seen above in a woollen Prince of Wales check grey two-piece suit by Paul Smith while Gromit wears a pair of Ray Ban wayfarer sunglasses and purple stripe silk scarf by Duchamp.
The campaign is created by DDB London with photography by Giles Revell.

I love it. So cute!!
Absolutely brilliant! I'm not sure how many Bristolians will get the Aardman-Bristol connection but they look fantastic anyway!
question. why do the photographer deserves to be credited but the creatives behind the campaign don't? it's a recurring thing in your blog. wish you could check into that. we want names.
Well that just made my morning.
I'd like to know where I can get the posters.
Stu - Bristolians are very proud of the output of Aardman. A few years ago some of them tried (unsuccessfully) to have streets on a new estate named after Wallace and Gromit.
Bristol's Famous Sons?
In answer to an earlier question /post...
Grant Parker (Head of art) was the creative genius behind this campaign. Check him out, he's responsible for lots of past Harvey Nichols advertising creative gorgeousness...
What a lovely thing to do...put a big smile on my face in NYC. I always knew they were model material!
So creative and fun
I LOVE It
A brilliant spoof on the classic poses of the male fashion world as seen in Q,Esqire etc.
Take another Oscar Aardman.
Did you know the wonderful Wallace and Gromit ads by DDB are now on sale at the Harvey Nichols website? http://shop.harveynichols.com/fcp/Shop/ACCESSORIES/AccessoriesLIMITEDEDITION/?resetFilters=true
