‘Tis Christmas morn. The family is gathered around the hearth, eager for some Yuletide amusement. “I know,” you cry excitedly, “let’s all do my 1000 piece Steven Meisel jigsaw.”

Yes, über-photographer Mr Meisel, has stepped into the stocking-filler market with a limited-edition, 1000-piece puzzle featuring model Meghan Collison as a tatooed pin-up (the image is from one of Meisel's many shoots for Italian Vogue). Available via Art + Commerce, Barneys or Colette and a snip at $750, it comes in a custom-made cloth box and is signed and numbered by Steven Meisel in an edition of 1000.

"The jigsaw puzzle is manufactured by Editions Ricordi, makers of high-quality jigsaw puzzles since 1808," apparently.

We think he's onto something here. Surely some of those other well-worn Christmas favourites could do with a bit of glamming up? Karim Rashid Kerplunk perhaps? Or Monopoly featuring Zaha Hadid-designed hotels? We're there.
