Our November issue is out today. It's our Photography Annual special and comes with 75 extra pages of this year's winning images and six alternate covers
As in previous years it's a double issue - the normal content one side, flip it over and start again from the other for the Photography Annual. Our six alternate covers feature images by (clockwise from top left): Honda Mentalism by Peer Lindgreen; Sweet Still Lifes by John Parker; Explosion by Jane Stockdale (before and after, concept and art direction: Accept & Proceed); Redefining Fast Food, by Diego Diaz and Supreme Cat Show by Dan Burn-Forti.
Inside, winners include

Ernst Fischer

Tim Brown (l) and Chris Frazer-Smith

Peer Lindgreen (l) and Adam Hinton

Alex Telfer (l) and Mitch Jenkins
In the issue we have the first of a series of three pieces by Anna Gerber on graphic design's role and responsibilities regarding sustainability

A look at the stories behind the creation of some of London Underground's classic posters, to tie in with a new exhibition at the Transport Museum

Nick Asbury's Corpoetics - strange poems created by re-mixing corporate About Us sections that question brands' attempts to own the language

A piece on Kilimanjaro magazine

How the Nintendo DS changed the face of gaming

And a profile on creative coder Karsten Schmidt

The explosion is fantastic, much danger was experienced and much fun was had getting it done. It was part of a campaign for our festival.
