Apple has just fired off this, a second shot in the direction of Microsoft's I'm A PC commercial...

Stop the bickering, enough already.

So bad... Mac has so lowered itself.

I cant believe designers, who should be a critical or at least slightly discerning breed all go for this childish, ignorent and all-round dull branding exercise.

As a company it is such a disgusting dictator-like 19th century-style, industrial mega-concern...

it makes me yearn for something else... A company that doesnt dictate the way my screen looks, my desktop is arranged, my music library is organized (and which music I can listen to), the programs I uses (and its shortcuts), etc.

It hasn't worked for John McCain.

And they both have Mac (Mc) in their name.

Ok, I've lost you all there.

All publicity is good publicity (sic) but it's the creativity that's important not the application/platform.
Having said that, any more bickering and I'll go back to using blue crayon on CS10 and doing seps on acetate overlays...

this is getting really stupid now... apple should better point out why their products should be better. why is there a glossy screen? why is a mac much more expensive than a pc? pc bashing is just lame...

It does seem slightly ironic that Apple have spent a load of money on producing an ad that criticises Microsoft for spending a load of money on ads... iPot vs MS Kettle, I think. On the other hand, it made me chuckle.

Of course Apple could save themselves a lot of money and post-production effort and just get Russell Brand to call up Steve Ballmer's answering machine.
