You know the problem – you've got something coming up that you're really dreading. Wouldn't it be nice to find some excuse to put it off? As John McCain calls for the postponement of the US Presidential debate so that he can singlehandedly solve the financial crisis, the thought occurs that it'd be nice if we could all do it...

At otherthingsidliketodelay.com you can find out what other things people would like to put off. Each time the browser is refreshed another 'thing I'd like to delay' appears. And you can add your own by following the link at the bottom of the screen.

If only they added the ability to 'send to a friend' or made unique URLs for each comment.

And actual text would be nice too.

How about 'Other things I would rather be doing than worrying about the economy' because it would be better if we solved it rather than sitting around debating about it!'

haha, fantastic idea!

My favourites have to be 'dying an embarrassing death, like at Disneyland or something' and "Other people from winning the lottery until it's my turn" Do you think the latter could be McCain's plan?

I agree with Tom though, it's a shame it's not more accessible.
