Renowned jazz photographer William Claxton inspired a couple of tunes by West Coast jazz stalwarts: "Clickin' With Clax" by Shorty Rogers and "Sound Claxton" by Al Cohn.

Also, the last track on the first Futureheads album namechecks not only the eponymous "Man Ray", but also Edward Weston.
