Part 1

IPA President and Vice-Chairman of Ogilvy Group UK Rory Sutherland gave a talk at renowned ideas conference TED in Oxford earlier this year, which has now been posted online.

In his witty talk, titled Life Lessons From An Ad Man, Sutherland comes up with a unique way of improving the Eurostar journey, explains the concept of 'placebo education' and notes how Frederick The Great of Prussia rebranded the potato as an exclusive object, while making a general point about how many of life's problems could be solved by "tinkering with perception".

Incredible talk!, love the Shreddies case, love the fact of the use of perception in how we value things, and how the value for the little things that you can share in the net is taken place in the everyday live. Love the talk!
