Buy a T-shirt, help Staffs students

Graphic Design, Illustration

To raise money for their degree show, Staffordshire University graphic design and illustration students are selling a range of monochrome products on the theme Grey Matter (T-shirt by Nikola Woodhall, above)

The entire class has produced designs which have been used on T-shirts, tote bags and posters.

Stephan Salt

Tom Edwards

All the printing was done by the students themselves who also, amazingly, managed a bit of ironing too

They have also produced some rather nice rubber stamps to use on labels

Sara Keating

Aaron Alexander

Benny Chung

All the items are available from the Grey Matter site here

Before anyone starts chiming in that 'this has been done before' etc etc, that's not the point. If you'd like to help some enterprising students raise funds for their degree show by buying some of the produce, please do. And students at other colleges, let us know what you are doing for your shows and we will try to help you too

Smart.

I remember trying to fund raise for my degree show a few years back. I will be buying!

It may not be point, but it's not exactly an original way of raising money from a group of enterprising 'creatives'.

Marvellous.

Students (especially creative ones) should be encouraged to be entrepreneurial while at university.

As an alumni of Staffs I will be supporting this.

We were lucky enough to have most of our degree show funded by the college. A bit of enterprise wont hurt you. Good luck with it.

Wow, good to see students at my old Uni being enterprising. Staffs is pretty good for t-shirts, they have a history of graphics students doing this type of thing; my friend who did Graphics there set up a pop-up shop selling his designs during the degree show!

They are taking a long, long time in sending me my T shirt- and they haven't even responded to my email querying the delay.
