Comedian Jimmy Carr spoke for much of the British public on Monday night, when he hijacked the ad break as part of Channel 4's Comedy Gala...
Brands including Specsavers, GoCompare and Guinness showed an admirable sense of humour by allowing Carr to pop up in their ads and basically take the mickey out of them. Particularly satisfying is his 'interaction' with Gio, the infuriating GoCompare man...

tbh, we could start seeing a trend here because i bet people had the chance to fast forward the ad break and didnt because of Jimmy and i think this breaking down of a 4th wall in the ads might be a good answer. Just a thought.
