Duckeye directs The Fitzcarraldo Sessions

Directing duo Duckeye have created this charming video for French music collective The Fitzcarraldo Sessions, where all is not quite as it appears...
While the promo may look as if it was entirely created in post, Duckeye were in fact far more hands on that. "Everything in the video was either filmed or drawn, then edited using After Effects and projected into a tank of water into which we poured ink, milk and powder paints which interacted with the shafts of light from the projector," they say. "Multiple takes were then overlaid, mirrored, and colour corrected in post to create the final piece."
