Lego Click film; agency: Pereira & O'Dell; Prod co: MJZ; Director: Blue Source
As previous Lego-related posts on the CR Blog have proved, most people love a bit of Lego. So to help fans celebrate the beloved plastic bricks, the toy brand has created Lego Click, a website to share ideas and all things Lego. The website is launched with this delightful film from directors Blue Source, which shows a Lego inventor enter the surreal world of Lego Click and share his idea.

Lego Click home page
The Lego Click website currently contains a mix of photos, films, tweets and blog posts, some Lego-specific, some not. And if that's not enough Lego mania for you, you can also download the Lego iPhone App via the site, which allows you to Lego-ify photos on your phone, so they look as if they are made of bricks. Tip: less complicated photos have the best results with the App.

You can Lego-ify your friends and family with the Lego iPhone App
Lego Click can be found at legoclick.com.

On a Lego note, you may be aware of a 100 Days to Make Me A Better Person. It's a project being held in the run up the London Word festival, led by comedian Josie Long and including Isy Sutie and Alex Horne. The idea is that participants do one small thing every day for 100 days.
One participant is making Lego: digyourfins.wordpress.com
And there are plenty of artists, graphic designers, photographers and other original, creative folk involved: http://www.hundreddays.net/

Lego again provides instructions without words, understandable in any language.

Incredible! Can't wait for my son to come home from school to show him the legoclick site. He has a collection of lego blocks that is over 10 years old - he still has every block from the first set we gave him when he was 3.

I really love Lego. The ad is truly great, but when I went to the site it's just to hard to navigate. Seems like design over function to me. Real shame because it could have been great.

@Richard - Could not agree more...
Absolutely passionate (obsessive?) about LEGO, but the click site, asides from the enjoyable animated film, was unbearable to navigate and more than a little bewildering.
Who is this aimed at?

There's something amazing about lego that never grows old. My mum has kept all the lego my brother and I had when we were kids up in the loft, ready for when it's needed again!
Loved the video, the motion touch was a nice feature that fitted in nicely with the lego-subject but as Richard has mentioned, the LegoClick site itself isn't easy to navigate at all - there's nothing intuitive about it etc... But it does look amazing!

Yea, I love lego but too find the site hard to navigate. It took me a while to find the side scroller and it didn't work very quickly with my mouse.
I like the concept of building blocks and people being able to add their own bit via social networking and its bright and vibrant but like Hugh, I'm not sure who its aimed at.

I tested the site on my lego obsessed 7yr old. He lasted less that 3 minutes. In all honesty, I really like the stuff lego's doing at the mo- we've got the CD player, alarm clock, the torch and the lantern- all design classics that look bloody ace in our house- buuuuuuuut the kids aren't arsed in the slightest. The warmth of the comments here, aimed at the brand only goes to show what an impact Lego had on us s kids. It's just a bit sad that Lego's efforts seem more aimed at maintaining that nostalgic relationship than developing a new generation of nostalgia. Lego used to be a pocket money possibility- my kid's would need to work their little ginger buts off for the Lego Star wars X-wing. Bad form. On a similar note- when will Play Mobile be due it's renaissance?
