After the hassles of dealing with clients, self-initiated projects give design studios some much needed creative release – as with Brooklyn-based Mogollon's series of posters for its own club nights

As Mogollon's founder Francisco Lopez explains, no doubt echoing the thoughts of many designer/DJs out there, "We love music and it's one way to produce nice pieces of work while having fun". Lopez has been playing music in New York bars and clubs for years so it was a small step to run parties under the studio name. Which of course provided a great excuse to make some posters. Here's a selection

You can listen to the music played on each of the nights promoted by the posters in the Radio section of Mogollon's website here

Am I the only one that sees 'Pac-Man' in a couple of these?

@Susan: It's so 'Pac-Man' I thought it must be a deliberate reference.

Other than that really nice work!
