Sociologist David Harvey takes a radical look at the causes of the financial crisis in the latest of the RSA's animated lecture excerpts
RSA Animate is a collaboration between the Royial Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) and illustrator Andrew Park. In a novel attempt to engage audiences with 'difficult' subjects', excerpts from lectures at the RSA are brought to life by Park and posted on the Society's website (more here).

Fab illustration of David Harvey's theories - his Enigma of Capital is a must-read for anyone who cares about why we're in the economic mess we're in, and how to learn from our mistakes.

Absolutely stunning: simple, effective, ingenious and entertaining way of giving the case in a neat little bullet shot that certainly wakes you up, which, as Harvey so rightly says, is what we need to be doing right now: WHERE'S THE DEBATE? Right here, for a start. Fantastic. Thank you all.
