"…lucky enough to live stateside"?
as opposed to those unfortunates who are "unlucky" enough to live anywhere else on the planet

@ kieran
Lucky in that the next series of Mad Men is airing there from Sunday, which is what this piece is about.

Sure, it's just a jarring opening statement.

Please amend it to "For those of you who have chosen to live Stateside and those who happen to have been born Stateside and not yet having re-located to elsewhere on the planet, ...".

Good thought full of potential, but the execution was really lacking. I felt like was surfing the internet in 1997 for 3 minutes. Surely a few hours shooting and a short script could've boosted the experience tenfold? I want to feel like I'm sat in a scratchy 60s tweed suit and trembling in my Cuban Heels!

or its a bit of simple humour... why so serious???

I believe that communication should work as hard as possible, whether it is about making me laugh, wasting time at work or getting me to spend thousands on a new car.
I came away feeling a little deflated, my opinion of the show is unaltered and I don't feel moved. Plus there was so much to read that I doubt many people will make their whole way through without exhaling in a disgruntled fashion.
TIme and money is precious and if the core aim of this activity was to advertise Mad Men series 4, then tell me something about why I continue to watch it. There's hundreds of TV shows out there.

I'm just annoyed they hired me as a media buyer. I mean, really!

Holy Sh*t!
I was offered a job as an account manager. I don't have the liver for this type ofj ob!

@ElizaWilliams,
Really, why did you even dignify that xenophobic, insecure and hypersensitive question with an answer?
Focussing on the topic at hand, these Burn films sizzle.

I've always been a 'backroom girl' - but hey I'll give it a whirl!

Nice idea. Boring visually and from a pay-off perspective.

Copywriter. Gutted.
Not as gutted as I am that we have to wait 6 months, 6 MONTHS, to watch the episodes in the UK though.
Incidentally I just posted a nice collection of ads on my blog.
