As is probably all too evident on this blog, we at CR love a bit of Lego. So we were delighted to see this film of a fully functioning Lego printer, complete with felt tip ink, on the B3ta website...

Lovely stuff - our only sadness is according to the YouTube entry this is not a kit you can buy.

Sorry, but we already did that years ago....
See here, a copy machine made from LEGO Mindstorm..

I love the superfluous bits like the palm tree and the horse. Or is the whole thing superfluous?

I don't know.

No matter, it's totally ace.

Finally a real solution to cheap replacement printer ink!

I love this soooooooooooo much. It's the frivolous detail that makes it the best lego printer ever.

You can’t beat LEGO!

Love the figures who look like they're actually working the machine!

Even if it's been done before it's still a brilliant idea and would be cool to have. I like how the people are set up so they look like they are making the machine work. If only it was a kit for sale....I would have to buy it and replace my printer.
