Next week Will Sweeney takes his weird world of organic cartoon tomfoolery to The Lazy Dog gallery in Paris. There's also a new book to accompany the exhibition...

While the press release for the show is in French it includes a rather nice line about, presumably, the place Sweeney's work has evolved from – a world of "de science fiction de BD et d'humour anglais" no less, which can only be a good thing.

Sweeney will be exhibiting some brand new work at The Lazy Dog and he also has a new five colour offset book of drawings published too, by Nieves in Switzerland. As Above, So Below the book is a 16-page treat and a few spreads from it appear below. It's available for £9 (plus p&p) from Sweeney's shop.
