Outline Editions has commissioned a selection of leading British image makers – including James Jarvis (his Sphere With Block II, shown, above), Anthony Burrill, Supermundane, Kate Moross and LIzzie Finn – to each create a new image, inspired by the city of London...
The new works – all beautifully Giclée printed on 270gsm Somerset Velvet stock in signed and numbered editions of 300 – are being exhibited at Online Editions' pop-up gallery / shop at 7 Marshall Street, near London's Carnaby Street. Here are a few of the works that will be shown and available to buy:

Welcome To London, by Anthony Burrill

Walkers Court by Robert Rubbish

On Where All Sides And Angles Are Equal #2 by David Saunders

All Things Could Be Happening At All Times, by Supermundane
001 London runs from tomorrow, May 28 to July 3 at the Outline Editions pop-up store at 7, Marshall Street, London, W1 7EH.

Best of the bunch posted above to be honest. Burrell and Jarvis always seem to deliver. Checked out the website, not a fantastic piece of work from Kate Moross, whose usually so stunning.

....couldnt hold back on this one, sorry, call me a miserable bast**d but how is a collection of standard hazard signs on paper suddenly art by Anthony Burrill? Does that little 'A.B' make it his work!!! Everyone else's work is completely original. I get his ace rainbow mirrors at his recent personal exhibition but im not really convinced that he deserves to be a leading British image maker, especially as his core work is bloody arrows....come ON?

Agree with the last comment re. A.B. - thought it was just me but don't get the significance of most of his work, and the piece above leaves me speechless. What makes it uniquely about London as opposed to any other UK city? Lame. Would welcome being enlightened if I'm missing a trick...

This whole exhibition was fantastic. Amazing, inspirational pieces. Amongst my favourites were the 'Klaus Haapaniemi - Fox and Parakeets' piece and David David's brightly coloured geometric pieces. Overall, it was a fascinating exhibition and I recomend going to see it.

Anthony Burill is riding a prolonged wave of 'short-term success' and doing it well. His work is becoming more about the fame created by the design press than the concepts and strength of the designs he produces which are nothing more than what most other designers are capable of these days, they just don't add A.B on the end.
