We've had lots of lovely work sent into CR Towers lately - here's a selection of some of our favourites. First up is a quirky short film directed by Thomas Hilland. It has been shot entirely on the new Nokia N8 smartphone. A making-of film, showing how it was made can be viewed here. Agency: Wieden + Kennedy London, production company: Partizan Darkroom.

Dana Carvey (Garth in Wayne's World) provides the voiceover for a series of amusing ads for the Early Learning Centre, from Karmarama. The ads put the toys at the centre of the action - the one above stars Swampsterz Thunder Jaw. Creatives: Joe de Souza, Sam Walker. Director: Hank Perlman, Hungry Man.

Adidas has launched a new football game, Danger Makes Legend, which invites players to do battle against friends over territory. The game is played through Facebook and players can choose between 12 European Champions League cities, including London, Madrid, Milan and Barcelona. The film above is a teaser for the game, directed by Christopher Hewitt (Knucklehead), and the game itself can be found here. Agency: 180 Amsterdam. ECD: Al Moseley. Creatives: Edgard Guimaraes, Ed Ryder, Kako Méndez, Bryan Stewart, Betsy Decker.

The autumn cold season is upon us, so Benylin has released this appealing press ad, featuring artwork by John Royle and lettering by John Freeman. The agency is JWT in London, creatives Laurence Quinn and Mark Norcutt.

Oliver Stone's Money Never Sleeps, the sequel to Wall Street, has received mixed reviews, but we rather like its title sequence, which is directed by Howard Nourmand.

Publishers are increasing making films and animations to help promote new titles. This one is from Penguin and is for John Lanchester's new book 'Whoops! Why everyone owes everyone and no one can pay'. The film features charming animation by Yum Yum London, as well as Lanchester himself, who explains why bankers are "the wrongest people who ever lived".

Fallon's new ad for the BBC Electric Proms features some rather nice stop motion animation. Creatives: Gary Anderson, Tony Miller. Directors: Jonathan Notaro & Mario Stipinovich, Brand New School.

A couple of music videos now, to round off the post. Firstly, Mr Harrison has directed this mighty fine promo for new track Cutter by Aspirins.

We finish with this striking video for Massive Attack's new track Atlas Air, which is directed by Edouard Salier. It's a dystopian vision, starring a giant fang-toothed rabbit who bounds through a ravaged and tortured world. Surely the perfect way to start the weekend....

Nice round up and some really great videos. Love the dragonfly love film as really shows how technology has a big influence on creativity and the potential of being creative with different materials and media.

This is a great collection of videos; I really enjoyed watching them all. I particularly liked the one by John Lanchester - witty and well pointed video on a topic that seems to be so drawn out these days.

I'd like to add this 3D animation I found today to the list: http://stereogum.com/547482/flying-lotus-kill-your-co-workers-video/video/

It's an animated video for the group Flying Lotus and it was created by Beeple (Mike Winkelmann). It also features a link to access the 3D animation source files. Enjoy! :)

(Thanks Josh, but Gavin posted about that last week: http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2010/october/open-source-3d-video-for-warps-flying-lotus Mark, CR)

Love the Early Learning Ad's. Captures how kids juxtapose toys to play.

Reminds me when the Decepticons invaded Castle Grayskull in the garden back in 87. Only the intervention of M.A.S.K and My Pet Monster prevented a blood bath...

What agency was behind the Nokia film? I didn't see any credits aside from Hilland.

@ Jennifer

Only just got the info now - it was Wieden + Kennedy London. Have added onto the post.
