TODAY ONLY: 40% off a subscription to Creative Review

Time's up. Sorry. But you can still subscribe to CR and benefit from all our enviable extras...
Roll up, roll up. For one day only we're offering a massive 40% discount off a subscription to CR. We don't care who you are, where you live or what you do, this offer's open to everyone. Whether you're a CR virgin or a loyal and long-standing fan looking to renew, the same deal's on the table. A big slab of money off a one, two or three year subscription to our lovely glossy magazine. But this is only available today.
'What's the point of subscribing?' we hear you cry.
As well as this offer being silly-money cheaper than the news-stand price, a subscription includes access to our online archive of more than five year's worth of features, and each month you'll receive the inimitable, critically-acclaimed and award-winning Monograph, a beauty of an A5 booklet, produced exclusively for CR subscribers.

Here's a look at the type of thing you can expect in Monograph: January's edition contained a collection of Akiko Stehrenberger's Hollywood poster proposals, many of which never made it past the first round of the commissioning process.
As well as Monograph and access to the CR archive, we're now producing four separate double issue Annuals each year. Our main Annual (which will be your first issue should you decide to take up this offer and subscribe) features the very best in visual communications from the previous year, plus there're also our Photography, Illustration and Type Annuals to enjoy throughout the year.

A spread from last year's Photography Annual, featuring Tim Flach's photography of a Hungarian Puli.
And and and, lest we forget, CR subscribers enjoy the priviliege of a nice range of discounts and offers from cultural institutions like the Tate, V&A and the Design Museum, as well as from book publishers such as Thames & Hudson and Phaidon, all accessible from the CR Shop. On top of which, as a subscriber you'll be kept in the loop on any CR-organised events, like last night's Creative Review Handbook launch.
So you're in and want to know where to sign. That would be here.

Hi! Tryed to subscribe and got an error on payment details saying CR could not authorize payment. I mailed the customer service, but does somebody know what I'm doing wrong? It's a silly question, but I thought somebody maybe had the same! :) I would just love to have the subscription! ;) Thnx

@ Rafael
Hi Rafael, Laura from CR here - thanks for trying to subscribe. Sorry to hear you've been having problems subscribing. I'm not too sure why the payment was rejected, it may be to do with the type of card you have. If you are able to, call our customer services team on +44 (0)207 292 3703 and they can take the payment over the phone or send your number to crcirc@centaur.co.uk and someone can give you a call back. Thanks again.

I already have a CR subscription, will I be able to buy one to extend my current subscription? ie. it only becomes active once my current one has expired?
2011-04-08 16:13:41
@Angus
Yes, you can still take advantage of the subscription for delivery in France. You just need to select the correct country on the subscription page and it will apply the discount for you.
@Jana
Yes, you can renew on this price. Just make sure that you subscribe using the same details as your current subscription and your new subscription will be added to the end of your current one. If you'd rather do this via the telephone and check when you're current subscription ends, call our customer services team on +44 (0)207 292 3703
Hope you both enjoy your subscriptions

Not actually an all today offer, but a working day offer? as I've just clicked through at 7pm to find I'm too late to benefit from reduction and it still seems like it's today to me!

Would it have been beyond the wit of man to make it clear this offer wasn't available ALL day? I was planning to act on this when I got home from work. At 7.25pm the offer is over. Very disappointing.

I tried doing this and it says too late - but the email was sent on 8 April and today when I tried was the 8 April
Was really wanting to do the deal - not happy : (

@ all -
Sorry for the frustration at having to end the offer at 7pm on Friday - this is purely because we had to turn this off before the weeked. I would be more than happy to honour the offer for you all if you email me directly today at laura.mcqueen@centaur.co.uk. Thanks to all of you who have subscribed already.

I've been emailing about my subscription for several weeks now and NO ONE HAS GOT BACK TO ME. I haven't received a copy since January, and even after 4 emails I still don't have a response. I love creative review, but your subscription system utterly sucks. (And this is after monthly problems since the day I signed up).

@angry subscriber
Thanks for your feedback and I'm really sorry that's the experience you've had. Please could I ask what email address you have been contacting? And also what country you are based in? You can always contact me directly with any subscription queries and I promise to get back to you asap. My email address is laura.mcqueen@centaur.co.uk

I must - very happily - rescind my previous comment about subscriptions.
Once made aware of my issue, Laura McQueen and her colleagues were nothing short of delightful in helping get me sorted out. Excellent customer service guys, thanks :)
