Evian: Let's Baby Dance

The Evian babies are back! And this time they are encouraging us to dance...

The latest spot from BETC Euro RSCG draws on the brand's print campaign from last year, which proposed that we're all babies inside. Using the baby T-shirts from the print ads, the commercial is designed to look like a music video and shows adults dancing to a new version of Tom Tom Club's Wordy Rappinghood by Uffie (remixed by DJ Mehdi).

In addition to the ad, Evian is encouraging fans to join in the dancing fun via a website and iPhone app that allows them to become actors in the video. More info can be found online at letsbabydance.evian.com. The site also offers visitors the chance to purchase their own baby T-shirt for those keen to engage in the full brand experience.

Brilliant! Forget the Smartwater viral, I was nearly taken in by the lack of originality is showed (http://www.viva-aspire.com/belief/the-changing-face-of-advertising.html?readmore). But this is real vrial creativity...although still corporate viral corporate viral creativity!

I'm not so confident that this works. Personally I find that there is so much going on with the adults expressions that I can't follow the basic idea of the babies dancing on the shirts. But then I wasn't a fan of the original advert.

It may be brilliant and clever but it does not make me want to drink Evian. My old fashioned brain associates milk with babies!

"Milk is for Babies!" Couldn't agree more with Joanna & Alan.

This benefits the entirety of the bottled water industry rather than Evian in particular, I feel.

I love this ad - it's clean, clever and as the mum of a toddler who dances spontaniously in the street just because the mood grabs her, think it captures the spirit of 'live young' perfectly! Well done you clever cloggsisis!!
