Some young hoodlums get more than they bargained for after breaking into a car in this striking new video for Son of Kick track Playing The Villain, directed by Matt Devine of the Glue Society. Warning: it gets a bit gross later on.

This is like a crap campaign to justify the return of corporeal punishment. More Harry Brown than Chris Cunningham. The way education systems are being attacked, I suspect we will see a lot more work of this kind -- highly stylised presentations of Daily Mail opinion.

Representational ideologies are put into reverse. Aristocracy/Royalty are now human, warm, fun (see CR coverage of awful t-mobile ad) http://bit.ly/hsSpSu ...while working class are aimless, aggressive, anti-social etc. and need to be violently reprimanded.

I wondered why I have so many nose bleeds. Must remember to tell son to turn bass down.

hmm... striking yes, not much else to it, just a bit crude for no apparent reason really.
Doesn't do the track any favours, and seriously doesn't entice me to buy (or listen to) their music.
All in all, bit of a failure in my opinion.

Honestly , striking !!

Traumatized me on my own level of sensitiveness , as much as I got to lay down on a couch for a few minutes after viewing it !
Never felt even a bit like this by watching a video before... as crude as it even could have been , but this one does it's job !!

But I respect it cuz it has it's power even if it affected me negatively .

Seeing them bleed pushes it far , you imagine what happens inside their bodies to cause what you see on the outside which makes you feel it even more and provoque a deep feeling of disgust and a bit of mind pain ....feeling like someone hearing the scraping on a blackboard by fingernails and who can't stand it at all and just has to run run away from it ....

this was a long one :)

Succes for this video although

Terrible. Why is this supposed to be a good video? You can't even properly listen to the track. Pointless and crude.

the justice video is exploitative, shameless, and dishonest; the glue society one is good fun, nothing serious, sheer entertainment
