The Illustrated Alphabet

The Small Print has just unveiled its latest project, The Illustrated Alphabet, for which it approached 26 of illustrators from around the world to each create an illustrated letter of the alphabet plus another artwork inspired by their particular letter. Contributing artists include Ben Newman, Bjorn Lie, Oliver Jeffers, Richard Hogg, Emily Forgot and Genevieve Gauckler...

Actually, illustrator Michael Gillette has contributed five images to the project as he drew the B (shown above, left) comprising brightly coloured beetles, and also produced another four images, one of each of the Beatles - his George Harrison image is shown above right.

Here is a look at some highlights from the new collection of images which are now available to buy via print-process.com as prints in varying sizes - an A2 print will set you back £30, an A1 print will cost £60, and an A0 is £120.
