This is one of a new series of photographic and video works by Trevor Jackson that comprise the graphic designer, music producer and DJ’s first solo show of non commercial work. Entitled Nowhere, the exhibition will run at London’s KK Outlet from March 4-26...

"Graphic design is essentially problem solving, you’re responding to a brief and reflecting the client's personality and opinions," says Jackson. "As much as I still enjoy that process, this new work is expressive and at times cathartic – something that has little place in much of my commercial work.”

Really striking work, love the first piece. I'll have to make my way down there.

Lovely work. Good to see TJ’s not lost the magic. Jackson, Saville, Burrill all manage to produce this incredibly rich work, with poise and depth, with just a few elements. So difficult to get right.

This (for me) ..is really interesting and innovative work. Well done Trevor Jackson.

Rothko would have liked it I feel sure. Fairly minimalist in its detail which gives us a rest from being overly bombarded by things in focus all the time.

I'd find pastel colours relating to neutrals a favourable nuance of route for future works perhaps..

We live in a far too saturated world.

This however is very cool and classy contemporary art. Looking forward very much to seeing more.

I have been a fan of his work for a while.
The images look cool, very minimal. Dont know if I would make a trip specifically to see them though.
I agree with Pauls comment, we do live in a far too saturated world.

Can't believe I'm the only one who thought it was pretentious, meaningless dribble . . .
