E4 has built a reputation for creating epic trailers for each new series of teen drama show Skins. Usually these contain enough sex, drugs and general yoof antics to make anyone over the age of 25 feel a bit fusty, but for series 5 they have taken a more enigmatic approach...

Okay, so it still has lots of nudity, but the film actually features the stars of the show putting on clothes for a change, while they fall through space to the sounds of Arcade Fire track Ready To Start. Eye-catching stuff.

Credits:

Agency/production company: E4
Director: Neil Gorringe (Moxie Pictures)
TV producer: Jason Delahunty
DOP: Tom Townend
Editor: James Rosen
Edit house: Final Cut
Post production: The Mill
Sound: Envy Post

Wow. That looks great. I don't think they'll be able to get the good storyline to back up that incredible advert though... they exhausted all the teenage problems in the first 4 series' (which were golden TV by the way.)

Awesome work though!

the art figure smashing is a let down.
Unless there is a art glass storyline in the series. LOL

Excellent concept, nice to know that there are still creative minds at work that inspire others, nice!

I was not too sure of the music to begin with, but it made more sense toward the end. Very nice though, good to see something different than the usual drunk party scene.

I don't believe it would will change minds of some viewers though, its unique and cool but its a shame they haven't thought of it earlier to introduce the show.

Very impressive trailer. Goodness knows how much it cost to produce, though! I am glad the taxpayer didn't have to fit the bill!
