Degree shows 2011: Kingston illustration

The graduates of Kingston University's illustration course sent over a selection of their work as featured on prints, cards and, enjoying something of a resurgence in 2011, the humble tea towel...
First up is a flow chart tea towel (above), one of three sent it by Bonnnie Moriarty, Jess Lewin, and George Mein (two more are shown below, though we're unsure as who did which one as they're not credited individually). Entitled Use Me, the trio of designs aim to highlight the often contradictory nature of advice given out to students (not from CR we hope):

Drying the dishes: often a time for quiet reflection, in this case, on one's email success:

These packs of cards are by Ellie Tzoni and Emi Hazlett – Hazlett's are embossed with a wolf design.

While this one is by Nina Cosford:

This paperchain, revealing a 'fleet of foxes', is by Emma Shoard:

And these three prints came in nice presentation pack from (from left) Marin Matsuo, Jack Hughes, and, again, Ellie Tzoni:

Marin was also keen to show her work as used on a product, with this bag complete with rather charming tapir:

This print, Are You Covered? is by Tom Clohosy Cole:

And this bear is the work of Sarah Maycock:

Jack Hughes again really impressed with his self-produced newspaper (like the tea towel, another very popular medium) which features quotes from a series of personal heroes:

Thanks again to the gradutes of the illustration course at Kingston for taking the time to send their work in.
