Regular readers of CR blog will be familiar with the work of Belgian directing duo Pic Pic Andre, not least because of their quirky stop frame animated ads for Cravendale which featured a cohabiting cow, pirate and cyclist. The pair's 2009 feature length stop animated film, A Town Called Panic, stars a similarly bizarre trio of cohabitants, namely a horse, a cowboy and a native American Indian. And a huge mechanical penguin. It's getting an airing on Film4 tonight at 10.40 pm

There should be an inverse watershed for adults, so we don't have to see this sort of old cobblers after 9pm.

Curators comment that 'there should be an inverse watershed for adults, so we don't have to see this sort of old cobblers after 9pm' clearly indicate he/she is either totally devoid of humour or taste. Its a wonderfully funny film as where Pic Pic Andres A Town Called Panic shorts and the Cravendale ads they did. He/she clearly likes to be a boring old fart rather than be entertained by something that reminds us of the stupid games we played as kids with our own collection of old toys like this. Lighten up you boring old fart and sod off.

Totally agree with you stan. Loved this film. Some people are so serious and boring
