Exhibition: Clear Your Head Every Day

Anthony Burrill's new solo show, Clear Your Head Every Day, opens this Friday June 10 at Outline Editions' gallery space and shop on Berwick Street in London. A graphic pattern runs through almost all the work which includes fabric hangings, and furniture created in collaboration with Michael Marriot. Here's a sneak preview:

As you enter the gallery, there is a series of 30 new 10 x 15 inch prints framed in clear perspex along the left hand wall. At the back, are two super bright flouro prints with woodblock printed text. These have been created in collaboration with Colby Poster Printing in Los Angeles, which Burrill describes as "a local printer shop who continue to use woodblock, a West Coast US equivalent of Adams of Rye."

A selection of screenprinted heavy weight cards

Also showing (above) are the three stencil prints he created in collaboration with Wilfrid Wood whilst exhibiting and working at Somerset House's Pick Me Up show in March earlier this year, plus the fruits of a new collaboration with furniture designer Michael Marriott, some brightly coloured stackable Roto Stacker stools (Marriott's design but the pair created the exhibited stools in a selection of collaboratively selected colours) and tables:

Clear Your Head Every Day runs from Friday June 10 - July 16 at
