Offset 2016 takes place at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from Friday 8 – Sunday 10 April.
This year’s speakers include Jonathan Barnbrook, Morag Myerscough, Mr Bingo, design and architecture collective Assemble, Brooklyn-based digital artists Reed and Rader, French illustrator and animator McBess, Pentagram partner Angus Hyland and 4Creative‘s Chris Bovill and John Allison.
Studio Dumbar creative director Liza Enebeis will also be speaking, as well as motion graphics designer and director GMunk (Bradley Munkowitz, who worked on Tycho video See and Disney film TRON: Legacy) and typographer Seb Lester, whose calligraphy videos have been viewed by millions online.
There’s a great line-up of homegrown talent too: Irish and Ireland-based creatives speaking this year include artist Robert Ballagh, Stephen Averill and Shaughn McGrath of AMP Visual (who have worked on all of U2’s album covers) Dublin ad agency Rothco, motion graphics, animation and VFX studio Piranha Bar, designer and illustrator Stephen Kelleher, accessories designer Úna Burke and fashion photographer Niall McInerney.
One day tickets cost €50 for students and €90 for professionals. Weekend tickets are €135 for students or €110 for groups of five or more and €250 for professionals (€200 for professional groups). Recent graduates can buy a weekend ticket for €160.
