If you’re a regular reader of CR you probably know that our very own Gavin Lucas has collaborated with CR’s art director, Nathan Gale, (who is also one third of design studio Intercity) on a book project: Badge/Button/Pin (CR May). To mark the occasion of the book being published, the pair have curated an appropriately badge-tastic exhibition that features some surprisingly large artworks (such as Ian Wright’s portrait of Trevor Jackson and also Jonathan Ellery’s metal works celebrating the button badge) – as well as lots of small but perfectly formed circular work by the likes of Antoni & Alison, Fred Deakin, eBoy, Trevor Jackson, James Joyce, Mark Pawson, Michael C. Place, Natasha Shah, Stereohype and What What.
The show is up for one more week (until 30 May) at exposure Gallery, 22-23 Little Portland Street, W1.
