The new and, we hope, vastly improved Creative Handbook website launches today. Creative Review bought the Creative Handbook back in the summer. Since then we have been working with Bureau for Visual Affairs to produce the most comprehensive and easy to use directory of its kind on the web, with details of thousands of photographers, illustrators, designers, ad agencies and other creative companies

As well as search, the new site showcases the work of those featured in monthly themed features, as well as news about contributors, award wins and constant updates every time new images are added to the site. Users can search using the usual keywords, favourite images that are of interest and email them to colleagues.

Search results on the new site. Anyone can get listed on creativehandbook.co.uk for free (details are on the site), but if you pay a small fee, you can post up your portfolio and update it as often as you like.

Portfolio page: can also be updated with recent award wins, work in progress and other news.

Looks great, but the site is a little clunky to navigate. Every time I click on something the whole page reloads and I lose focus on what I was looking at.
