Dream Big

Isles of Scilly film part 1 for adidas ‘Dream Big’ campaign by 180 Amsterdam

As UEFA Euro 2008 rapidly approaches, the footie-related advertising cometh. This latest football fare comes from 180 Amsterdam for adidas, and consists of a series of films shown online based around the theme ‘Dream Big’. The films’ twist is that rather than concentrating on the big teams that are vying to win Euro 2008, they look instead at some of the world’s smallest teams, and stresses that they too can dream big, no matter how tiny they might be.

Teams in Andorra, San Marino and the Isles of Scilly are introduced in these charming four-minute films. After the local players are presented, it is revealed that the teams will receive some extra coaching for their upcoming matches, heralding the arrival of (yep, you guessed it) god-like players such as Kaká, Lionel Messi, Steven Gerrard and David Beckham to help out. Additional episodes revealing the outcome of their tips will then play out online over the coming months. Follow the action at adidas.com/football.

the clips are quite good but it’s more of less the same thing kesselskramer’s bulbheads did some years ago with “the other final” movie about the match between the last two country teams in the fifa charts.

Hi everyone!

I too would love to know who did the nursey rhyme like track which starts with the glockenspiel type sound to be supplemented with a subtle but sweet drum beat. I imagine its an absolute tune! Anyone know? All the best, Tim
