Forest: A Lichtfaktor Exclusive For CR

As promised in our post earlier this week, here is the film that CR – in association with Aurea by Philips – commissioned Cologne-based lightwriting crew Lichtfaktor to create. Enjoy.

Lichtfaktor’s film, Forest, debuting here, is something of a departure for the group as its previous films have all been shot in urban environments. “We really wanted to do something different for this film,” says Lichtfaktor’s Marcel Panne. “We wanted to get out of the city and surround ourselves and our work with nature.” The trio of lightwriters travelled to the Hautes Fagnes (High Fens) region of Belgium and rented a cabin for a few days from which they hiked for around three hours each night to shoot in various locations.

Beautiful work from Lichtfaktor.
Nature is a great canvas for their style of work.

I believe you can get a similar effect with a sparkler, especially at this time of year. Ah, happy memories…….

nice, inspirational, but at the same time not very good, ok sounds ect but better ideas needed and to much use of the same frame, this could of been recorded in one evening, no need to rent a cabin, however overall i do like.
