What is E-CR?
E-CR is the electronic version of Creative Review, the monthly magazine for visual communication. It features all the editorial pages of each issue of Creative Review, with the additional benefit, thanks to Beam.tv, of moving image content and live weblinks.
How does it work?
E-CR is .pdf based. You will need Acrobat Reader 6 or above to view it. Simply click on this month's issue to download E-CR to your desktop. You can zoom in on any points indicated by the red boxes. Click on the box to zoom out again or use the cursor to drag the page around. Use the ‘Contents’ page to jump to any page, or go through them in sequence using the ‘Next’ button. Moving image content is indicated by a play icon in the bottom right corner of an image. Simply click on the icon and the video will play in a pop-up window (you must have a web connection in order for this to work). Weblinks are underlined in red.
How do I get it?
We are now unfortunately no longer producing any new editions of E-CR, the digital version of Creative Review. You can however still access your old issues of E-CR.
Can I view E-CR anywhere?
Yes, you can view E-CR wherever you are in the world. Simply sign in with your Subscriber ID and password to view E-CR. If you wish to download E-CR to more than one computer, you can do so on to a maximum of ten different machines. If you exceed this amount, more downloads may be purchased via the E-CR control panel.
Will there be an archive?
Yes. Each issue of E-CR will remain on this site in the archive. You can search each issue. There will also be an archive of moving image content, accessed via the pop-up window which appears when you go to play a piece of video. It will be searchable across all issues.
