An Eye for an Eye was inspired by Gandhi's quote: “An eye for an eye will quickly leave the whole world blind”.
The film glimpses into a timeline of events that have unfolded since the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City. It explores the conflict between the West and Islam from a satirical point of view. The War on Terror continues to inflict pain and suffering upon innocent civilians. The film focus on the injustices caused to those caught in its grips. There is Anti-American criticism within the film, but it also portrays the terrorist organizations as being equally wrong, in order to make the point that two wrongs don’t make a right.
