Tagtool by OMAi is a multiplayer app for live painting and animating. Aimed at a new generation of visual creatives, Tagtool turns your iPad into an intuitive instrument for animated art. The app is designed for jamming and performing at home, in the studio, on stage or in public space. Several users can work together in a shared visual universe, which is presented to the audience with a projector or TV.

Live painting

Create image layers by painting with one or more fingers. Use simple gestures to change color, width, and other line properties on the fly.

Touch animationEasily apply animation loops to image layers with your fingers. Combine layers to form complex animated artwork, e.g. gesticulating characters.
Multiplayer sessionsConnect several iPads over Wi-Fi to paint and animate together with other artists. The visuals are synchronized in realtime across all devices.
Live projection mappingWihen using Tagtool with a projector, the artwork can be mapped to features of the projection surface, e.g. the windows of a building.
