The brief was to use typography to create a series of cover designs for Faber Film’s range of books that reflect Faber and Faber’s long history of typographic excellence.

This is generative design using tag clouds. Each book is individual as different keywords and copy numbers are displayed on every cover. Using tag clouds also means that whatever the title, the cover is always relevant to the content, while also generating intrigue.

The aim was to create a minimal and elegant style with a simple yet impactful layout. Each catagory is distinguished with a different colour.
