Established fashion and beauty photographer, Elise Dumontet and film director Rowland Jobson have teamed up to create three new pieces of work on film: 'The Drop', 'Aniko' and 'Memoires'. Matt Turner, Director of Telecine at Rushes, completed their sensitive and graceful colour grade.

Shooting for brands such as L’Oreal, Space NK and Remington, her work regularly appears in a variety of top publications such as The Sunday Times Style, Tank, The Observer and Vogue. Dumontet’s “passion for all things beautiful" drove her to create a simplistic yet unique approach to beauty photography. She says, “My one goal, with any of my pictures, is to create the most beautiful image I can, regardless of my subject.” That passion has now transgressed to moving image.

Rowland’s previous work includes dramatic film Girl Like Me, shot by Robbie Ryan which premiered in competition at Venice International Film Festival, playing over 30 international film festival winning four prestigious awards along with a list of nominations. He has directed many films for brands including Mazda, Samsung, and Shelter. Jobson explains "The thing that really connects me and Elise so dramatically is our love of beautiful images, to convey something so magical, powerful and captivating the viewer can’t ignore. I always wanted to make fashion and beauty films, there is poetry to be found there. It’s a great partnership and I can’t wait to see what we can create next."
His work has won a D&A book entry and nomination along with 2 IVCA awards. He has also just won a British Airways Great Briton Award to develop his transmedia feature film ‘Sleeper’ in Hong Kong and Beijing.

Dumontet and Jobson delivered their three films along with three different references to Rushes Director of Telecine, Matt Turner. In turn, taking the 1970’s retro image references, Turner has worked to create distinct looks for each film,'The Drop', 'Aniko' and 'Memoires'.

They say "In terms of the grade our first thought was Rushes. Just because we know Rushes understand beauty and fashion and work with the very best people in the industry. Working with Emma and Matt Turner has been absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to help us and we will certainly come back for more."

The titles/motion graphics were created by Graham Smith owner and director of electricpalmtrees. A creative studio specialising in design, motion graphics, animation and films. Graham’s recent film work includes animator on “American, The Bill Hick’s Story” and creative direction for the forthcoming documentary “PingPong”.
