An exploration on narrative using old public service videos, the audio is taken from the archive footage also; manipulated then composed. The video is called 'pilar' because i spelt pillar wrong, it's about kubricks obilesk which for me stands (in the film's context) as a pinpoint of creative corruption that has taken the form as a recognisable shape to minds. 'Pilar' works to enhance this idea – taking something that was used to portray one idea then morphing it so that it contains its original context but creates a new presence with naive characteristics.
