The creators of this guide have spent hours sitting at sticky tables having meetings or waiting for appointments, always with the niggling thought that there must be somewhere nicer to pass the time. After all, there are thousands of places to meet in London, why put up with something wretched? And so this project began, not just for them but for everyone with only a kitchen table, converted cupboard or shared space to call an office. A map of quiet spots to think and secluded places to conspire. In other words, places to work, or feel like you're accomplishing something even when you're really not.
