This project looks at the centenarian population of 8 countries worldwide with the highest centenarian % rates. One side focuses on 2 out of these 8 countries, Japan and the UK, and explores birthday traditions and special ages of both. The opposing side examines the change in centenarian population this over the last 100 years. Screenprinted and stitched back to back on white linen. The inner box details the oldest living supercentenarians in the world at present.
