The concept is to use the ubiquitous Halloween pumpkin, which is already imbued with scary associations, as a method of delivering a message.

Lit by a couple candles and placed in my front yard, the scariest Halloween pumpkin ever!! scared the crap out of the neighborhood!!

Scary stuff indeed.

Phuuaaa!! I think the scary thing here is not the type face but the senseless obsession with it. The rest of the design is pretty weak which makes the lack of imagination fairly disturbing.
I'm sick of this anti comic sans snobbery. It's like the designers last resort to differentiate/ raise themselves from other laypeople with a copy of photoshop installed on their PC.
