Sheffield-based creative agency Pixel DNA has designed and produced a brand new Title Sequence for GMTV KIDS 'Action Stations'; a weekday morning cartoon show aired on CITV.
The title sequence is a combination of 3D animation and special effects which result in a fast paced intergalactic space journey where the Action Stations space station comes to life. Pixel DNA were tasked with designing each spacecraft from scratch and worked closely with the GMTV KIDS team on the concepts and ideas for how everything would work. Along with producing the Title Sequence graphics, Pixel DNA designed and created the programmes computer generated 3D sets and were also asked to create an animated interactive website to accompany the show.
Mark Wilson, Head of GMTV KIDS says: "Pixel DNA have worked extremely hard with us on this project. The result is animation worthy of a movie franchise, and a website that puts 'Star Trek' in the bargain bucket. Their creativity is genius!”
